The Champ

Our tee shirt quilts are incredible regardless of the size. You can take two tee shirts and make a wonderful throw. A throw this size is perfect to take with you on your sporting events, gifts for Dad in his easy chair or that special gift for an older person who can’t go to events any more. This quilt was made from cutting up two tee shirts of Dale Earnhardt. The shirts were stabilized and pictured framed with yellow fabric. Than I chose black and white check fabric to help establish the racing theme for such a great guy. To add character to the throw I added a two inch bright blue stripe on the outside edge of the picture framed squares. A bright orange fabric was used for the binding to complete this throw. This tee shirt throw meant so much to my husband that it brought tears to his eyes when he received this gift.
