Lindsey’s Treasure

A mother gathered her daughter’s collection of old Tee Shirts and mailed them to me. She had always wanted to turn her shirts into a quilt but never did. She wanted a special gift that her daughter could keep forever. Even though her daughter was older and out of school she knew this would make a wonderful Christmas present. The shirts were cut out and organized into a design to please the customer. A border was added using red tie dye fabric. A quilt pattern of stars and loops was used in an all over (pantograph) pattern. Pantograph patterns are used in many quilts that will be used often. It simply is a basic stitch that starts at the top of a quilt and continues to the end of the quilt.
